Today I’ve got two must hear remixes from the El Cuco Recordings man, Mendez. The first addition being a chill, excellently produced moombahton remix of the old school hip hop track I Got 5 On It. With a perfectly chosen drum kit this remix sounds better than the original to me, but check it out and decide for yourself!
And now for my favorite of the two, his moombahton remix of Mr Oizo’s Flat Beat! This track is not only a great DJ tool to transition down from house to moombahton, but it’s a very unique sound quite reminiscent of some older Bassnectar. If he had been making moombah that is. Either way Mendez has been putting out some huge songs and there is only more to come!
