BREAKING NEWS: Pegboard Nerds crush Moombahcore track after another.
Alexander Odden and Michael Parsberg make up the Norwegian duo whom are called by Pegboard Nerds, and as of recent they’ve taken it upon themselves to run the Moombahcore game. It started off with their collaboration with Tristam and the massive festival shaker that they proceeded to create, given the name “Razor Sharp”. A Heavy and melodicly brillitant song, this is an amazing release from the independent label we should all know by now, Monstercat. Then only a couple hours ago they released their official remix of J. Viewz “Far Too Close” on Soundcloud and will you look at that, more Moombahcore! The beautiful Indie lyrics don’t prepare you for the destrucofunk that is soon to come! Perfect use of triplets, as per usual by the Nerds.
If this wasn’t enough to foreshadow their diabolical plan, Pegboard Nerds brand new EP coming out of all Moombahcore & Trap is titled “Guilty Pleasures“! The 4 track EP will also include a new fat greasy version of Razor Sharp they VIP’ed out to make even heavier; all while keeping at EDM’s greatest tempo 110! “So What” and “How You Feelin” are two of the best Moombahcore songs we’ve heard since Destroid released Funk Hole and Far Too Loud put out anything. They even seem to be some moombah snobs themselves as they noted the succes of their track on oddly placed GlitchHop.net; “Currently #1 Glitch Hop (Yes we know it’s not a glitch hop tune)”! Guilty Pleasures is out next week via Monstercat (US) and Disciple (Europe)!
Us over here at Moombroton really hope Pegboard Nerd’s continue on this path they’ve chosen because we need more producers like them in the Moombahton world helping spread the word of 110! Hopefully we can catch up with the duo to talk soon so stay tuned!
