David Heartbreak Interview

Moombroton: First off, how did you get into music and more specifically EDM?
Heartbreak: I got into electronic music by Daft Punk. I actually purchased ‘Revolution 909′ back in the day and thought it was instrumentals (haha). But them along with Timbaland and Bjork, that was all EDM to me, plus I grew up listening to a lot of hip hop and rock, thats where I get my aggressive side from. Honeslty, I was very closed minded, I didn’t go as far as I do now into music, only regret I have. The types of music that you listen to says a lot about your personality.

Producer Profile + Moombroton Exclusive Neki Stranac Producer Profile + Moombroton Exclusive: Neki Stranac

Moombahton has come a long way from it’s beginnings with Nada and since then there have been many contributors to the development of this expansive genre. Someone who has always been bringing numerous tracks to the table, as well as sufficing to all bass needs, has been the Serbian master of moombahton, Neki Stranac. Neki Stranac is the solo project of Milan Đurić, who is 1/2 of the “folkstep” duo ShazaLaKazoo. Hailing from Belgrade, Neki has given us incredible originals like “Bo!” and countless edits and remixes of tracks like “Lifetime” and “Go Down Low“.

Today he will continue with his steady flow of output by releasing “Gypsy (Neki Stranac Moombahton Mix)” as a Moombroton exclusive! This track, originally done by SCNDL, is a top notch moombah edit that is made for the big room party atmosphere. A continuous groove is present from beginning to end and one cannot help to get physically involved with the music. Knowing how to always keep the party going, Neki will continue to be a major player in the moombahton game.

Along with this Moombroton exclusive, we got to catch up with Neki for a killer interview! Make sure to check out the tracks with the interview and head over to Neki’s Facebook to show him your support. For those looking to blast their library with Neki tunes, head over to his free downloads page, which you can find here.

Interview with French duo AGLORY Plus Free Tracks Interview with French duo, AGLORY: Plus Free Tracks!

Style is what defines artists. No matter what genre they produce, every artist should set out to mold their own identity in how they create music. This is not a constricting facet, however. It is merely having a solid fundamental basis that gets built upon and morphed throughout an artist’s career. One such project that has an incredibly unique and fresh take on things is the French duo, AGLORY. Hailing from Paris, Anthony and Geoffray are tearing it up with incredible tracks. Whether it is moombah, trap, house, or even hardstyle, these guys have an amazing style that is all their own. The distinctive flare they possess has gotten them quickly signed to not only Chateau Bruyant, but also the New York centered label Rot10 Musik.

Below we have for you a phenomenal trap remix of A-Trak & Zinc‘s “Like the Dancefloor” as well as an excellent interview from these guys! The interview spawned from our posting of their collaboration track with Sazon Booya that was released on the Moombahton Forever compilation. You know these guys are legit if they had a song, which you can find concluding this post, on that epic release. Make sure to keep an eye out for these guys in the future and enjoy the wonderful interview and music!
