I’ll never forget the first time I heard this massive moombahton original “OH HAI” dropped by Zeds Dead in their mix for Rinse FM and then once again live at the Ogden Theater! I went bonkers trying to search the depths of the internet for this insane track by The Killabits. After a year long wait they’ve decided to finally release this banging track as apart of their “Oh Hai” EP! They feature some pretty sick tracks on this free EP like the hard-style beat “ERRBDY!”, which we posted up when they released the single a couple months back.
 
The Killabit‘s creativity shines through in OH HAI with some of the best vocal synth manipulation I’ve heard in the current edm era. Daft Punk, Koan Sound, and Skrillex hold the top of that list for me but this is a whole new concept. Combined with the driving groove of the “dem bow” beat and sitting at 110 BPM, this is a perfect Moombahton song. I wouldn’t miss out on this track!

Although this week may not have had numerous occurrences, that does not mean that there hasn’t been anything extraordinary. The legendary duo Daft Punk announced their return with their fourth album which is set to be released in the spring with Columbia Records. Kill Paris released his highly anticipated “To A New Earth” EP which is another must get OWSLA product. Another notable release this week comes from the French producer Kavinsky, who released his album, “Outrun”, on February 25th. The last of our news comes from Dillon Francis who announced he will be premiering the music video for “Bootleg Fireworks (Burning Up)” on Tuesday via the Potato youtube channel.
 
Another newsworthy event was the arrival of more Moombroton gear! We have shirts, tanks and stickers that will be up for order sometime in the future. We will also be giving away some stuff so be ready! Now off the topic of fresh clothes and on to the fresh music. Enjoy your digest for this week.
 
Shorne: Moombahton OG LeDoom has teamed up with Play Me Records to release his latest DVRKNESS OVER EVERYTHING EP featuring a whole new set of down and dirty sounds and concepts! The title track “Darkness Over Everything” is an epic electric house original that could only be compared to the music Feed Me has been putting out. He teams up with Sluggo on a moombahton track as well! This is definitely my favorite LeDoom EP yet and we can’t wait to hear more!

“The Drop” is a ridiculously amazing Trap song from the moombahton and trap master Bro Safari. It encompasses all the great sounds of Trap we love with Bro Safari’s personal flare of jungle music. This track, much like most of Bro Safari’s production, has a brain shaking drop that will exceed any listener’s expectations. It is filled with energy, anticipation, and epic synths. Beyond that, it has a chorus that continuously builds up each drop to be epic. Once again, Bro Safari shows his ability to create a song for masses to get rowdy too. Bro Safari is definitely one of our favorite producers. We are excited to hear this along with other bangers at TRAPFEST. (Tickets to TRAPFEST)

From the start one can get a sense of how in your face this track is going to be. The percussive rhythms are insane and really give the track the intensity that one wants in this progressive style of trap.
