New and upcoming producer June, gave us this nice little treat consisting of the perfect balance between chill moombahton and grimy moombahcore. The jungle type drum beat and epic big room sounds keep you anxiously waiting for what is to come. Bass heavy synths roll smoothly in through your ears and down to your chest which in turn can cause one to truly groove the funk out. Do this song some justice and listen to it on some big ass speakers, enjoy!
When I think about France my first thoughts are usually Daft Punk. Then Madeon, The Noisy Freaks and after this amazing future funk remix of “Give Me The Night“, Aelian works his way into that mix. George Benson‘s 1980 disco hit was filled with some unforgettable funky baselines and melodies.
But if you thought his version was giving you a happy feeling inside, wait till you hear this eccentric future funk remix! It reminds me a lot of the music Kill Paris and Sound Remedy have been releasing. Happy baselines everywhere!
Aelian‘s remix splices up George Benson’s vocals perfectly between his epic atmospheric synths! Not to mention his reese space sounds are starting to sound evermore like Feed Me and Kill The Noise. His “Cave Funk” track that we posted was wonderful, but he has come far even since then. Have a listen and enjoy!
Kaptain is coming at us again with a Moombahcore remix of Kill The Noise‘s “Dying” that you just can’t pass up! The original track featuring Ultraviolet Sound & Emma Hudson was some masterfully produced Dubstep and the best pieces being a combination of beautiful lyrics and filthy bass. The usual high quality tune that you’d expect from KTN.
Just by adding a dab of Moombahcore, Kaptain turns “Dying” into a groovy remix with a whole new style and feel. Focusing less on the vocals he keeps it going fresh with a flux of sounds from throughout the original. If you heard Kaptains remix of Sub Focus “Falling Down” you know what you’re in for. Enjoy!
So I think it is about time for all of us to get familiar with Konec. He hails from the UK and is a mastermind with the 110 bpm as he demonstrates with this huge tune, Forever. The high pitch screams combine flawlessly with the low growling bass that calls for a recipe of destruction. Stay posted for Konec’s massive remix of Lazers by Blaster set to release December 5th! Hopefully this will hold you over until then, enjoy!
Zeds Dead and Excision have raised the bar above and beyond the normal when it comes to Canadian electronic dance music producers. But the Bass Farmers step it up for Edmonton with this well harvested moombahcore original made for your jumping joy. Sampling the original ‘Walk The Dinosaur‘ by Was (Was Not), they have to compete with the remakes in the nerd favorite SuperMarioBros (1993) and most recenty by Queen Latifah in Ice Age.
Needless to say the Bass Farmers Jurassic remix comes out on top with its fearsome growls and well placed “jumps”. For more free hand grown Canadian bass follow the Bass Farmers on Soundcloud!
