When I think about France my first thoughts are usually Daft Punk. Then Madeon, The Noisy Freaks and after this amazing future funk remix of “Give Me The Night“, Aelian works his way into that mix. George Benson‘s 1980 disco hit was filled with some unforgettable funky baselines and melodies.
But if you thought his version was giving you a happy feeling inside, wait till you hear this eccentric future funk remix! It reminds me a lot of the music Kill Paris and Sound Remedy have been releasing. Happy baselines everywhere!
Aelian‘s remix splices up George Benson’s vocals perfectly between his epic atmospheric synths! Not to mention his reese space sounds are starting to sound evermore like Feed Me and Kill The Noise. Producer Profile: Bro Safari, The Original ‘Moombro’
With the birth of anything, comes the never ending barrage of influences and insights of the outside world on how it should be raised. While everyone believes they’ve had an influence on the end result, it has historically came down to the influence of the creators and the ones it has surrounded itself with shaping the evolution.
Of course, here we are talking about Moombahton. And while still young in age, there have already been a select group of exponentially talented producers who have shaped the genre forever.
Dillon Francis, Munchi, Nadastrom, Knife Party and the Moombro himself, Bro Safari, are among these greats.
With his most recent EP release, Bros Gone Wild, reaching (as of now) #3 on the Top 100 Beatport releases, his mark has been set in stone. Not to mention he has just been added as support for various dates on Feed Me’s tour right along side Kill The Noise.
