I don’t know about all of you but ‘Chop Suey!’ by System Of A Down was one of my favorite songs throughout high school, so it definitely holds a special place in my heart. Well Astrolis took this classic hard rock / metal anthem and gave it the perfect moombah touch with some catchy vocal chops and driving synths with a beat much easier to dance to compared to the original. Make sure to snag the free DL because this is most definitely a crowd pleaser!!
Kaptain‘s first official EP release on KatHaus Records comes in the form of a massive Moombahton track appropriately titled “Steezy“! A dark electro influenced moombahton original, it is supported by remixes from Omeguh and Sentiflect; their Trap and Electro versions of Steezy show how catchy and versatile Kaptain’s original sounds are at any beats per minute. But better yet, in the Steezy VIP by Kaptain he shows us how fat and juicy only he could make his own sound.
As of recent Kaptain has been one of the most consistent producers in the Moombahton game and looks to have a big role in the rebirth of the genre, as we can all sadly see the lack of growth from the genre as a whole. But with every last moombahton release like this one we get another burst of hope for the takeover! Support Kaptain and purchase this from your local online music store!
More and more “Moombahton” has shown heavy influence from Electro House than Dutch House or Dem Bow, but nevertheless there are a still a ton of sick tunes coming out that sit at 110 beats per minute. Today we’ve got Kaptain‘s remix of Mile’s Song by AndDrop! and it definitely falls under this category. We once posted a remix of Sub Focus’ “Falling Down” from Kaptain that would also fit, but you can also see how the scene has changed since then!
“Mile’s Song” is similar to the hard-style 110 drop that we continue to hear from Dillon Francis & Kill Paris. Kaptain is currently signed to Kathaus Records and continues to put out better music with each release! We got a sneak peak of some of his released tunes and they are only gonna get better. Enjoy this fresh remix and free download courtesy of Techibeats!
I don’t think I have heard a release this intensely massive in a very long time. Especially for a moombah track! This highly anticipated banger is brought to everyone now for free by the beloved Bro Safari and Sazon Booya. I have personally seen both of these acts perform, never getting to hear this track, but if I did, I think I would have been quite literally blown away from the intensity of this one. The driving bass is so filthy and heavy, which just goes to show the design talent and incredible ear these producers have. Each contributor brought their flavor to the table and the product that was created is a true testament to where moombah can be taken!
I have been on the lookout forever for songs that have sampled from the seemingly infinite cache of quotable lines from the hilarious show, Trailer Park Boys. Today, Namzie delivers with this massive moombahcore tune! “Fuck Sakes” is hard and heavy, with a little taste of nu jump thrown in. The style reminds of acts such as Bass Bocs and Notixx. This is one of those danceable gritty tunes that is perfect for any moombah set, or even any set in my opinion. Especially if you just happened to be with a bunch of TPB fans. I have no reason not to believe this was inspired by the filming of the Trailer Park Boys new film, which will be their third feature length endeavor.
Make sure to head over to Namzie’s Facebook and Soundcloud to give him your support. Stay tuned for more stuff from this guy in the future and check out his previously released tracks.
