This Boulder local and now Sub.Mission resident has been pumping out only the freshest of tunes since he entered the scene back in 2011. After a brief production hiatus, Steptech is back in action and I honestly could not be happier. Instead of his normal fat, grimy sausage bass type stuff he shows us some variety with an incredibletrapstep original ‘I Can Do.’ The flawless vocal chopped intro guides you smoothly into a laser – filled drop that is straight madness. I promise it will not disappoint, enjoy!
This week we have only great news to report and insane music! If there is a release from this week that is an imperative to get, then that release would be Revolvr‘s “Clockwork” EP. It’s free, so head over to his Facebook and get it. Tomorrow we’ll see a groundbreaking moment in the world of electronic music, with Madeon being the first ever dance music producer to perform at the New York Stock Exchange. It is for the Kairos 50 event, which honors businesses started by undergraduate entrepreneurs. Last but certainly not least, Sir Dillon Francis released his rendition of the Harlem Shake phenomenon, which was filmed inside of a Taco Bell. Got to love him. And Taco Bell.
On a side note, Trapfest is less than a month away and I happened to book my flight to Colorado this week to go. So who of you will I see there!? If you haven’t yet, make sure to purchase your tickets which you can do here! We have some massive tunes for you guys this week. So without further adieu, enjoy your sonic digestion.
Shorne: The trap gods have answered our prayers with this one and brought us an absolutely ridiculous trap anthem from Moombroton favorite Kai Wachi! His basslines are just so damn phat, and teaming up with Squnto they create some hella groovy trap. Once again Kannibalen Records releases only the best tunes they can get there hands on. Take a listen and prepare yourself for some crazy trap style bass!
After realizing that I have seriously slacked on the videos and youtube side of Moombroton, I’ve got a sick new video from motorsport company DriftHobby, that happens to intro in with Stetech’s latest. Born Ready’s intro was perfect for this video and as soon as it drops you get to see Tiago Romano tear it up in his pink Nissan. And in case you missed it the first time, here’s the download from Steptech! enjoy.
Steptech has quickly became one of Boulder’s top producers, and after his track with Dirt Monkey, Go got released on Excisions label; things have been looking up. And now he shows his talents in the moombahton world with this heavy melody filled moombah original that is one of his best tracks yet. The drop has just the right amount of glitch and perfect sampling from Disturbed so check it out and enjoy! Check out more of Steptech on his soundcloud.
With this week bringing us a brand new Dirt Monkey EP on the ferocious Rottun label (Excision’s), so comes an extremely dirty moombahcore remix of his original mix, In The Place. The tunes are already starting to chart on beatport so you should definitely check them out! And with the second of three tracks on the EP, we’ve got Go, the collaboration between up and coming Boulder dubstepper Steptech. This tune is huge so take a listen and enjoy!
